Harvard Undergraduate EA

Harvard Undergraduate EA (HUEA) is the undergraduate subgroup of the Harvard University EA Student Group. HUEA is responsible for outreach and events targeted toward undergraduate students. HUEA organizes the Arete Fellowship, an introductory fellowship to EA that is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

Nick Gabrieli is a senior in Adams house studying Philosophy and Math.  He is interested in AI alignment and growing the Effective Altruism community, in addition to reading, board games, and meditation.

Zazie Huml is a junior in Cabot House concentrating in social studies with a secondary in global health and health policy. Lena is a junior in Kirkland studying Animal Behavior/Cognition and Philosophy. She's concerned about animal suffering and is interested in the obligations we have to the other animals. Lena works in Dr. Irene Pepperberg's avian cognition laboratory with two ingenious parrots, plays the harp, and loves to run.

Joshua Greene
Faculty Advisor
Joshua Greene is an experimental psychologist, neuroscientist, and philosopher. He studies moral judgment and decision-making, primarily using behavioral experiments and functional neuroimaging (fMRI). Other interests include religion, cooperation, and the capacity for complex thought. He is the author of Moral Tribes: Emotion, Reason, and the Gap Between Us and Them.
